This original design from Ghanaian artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu is named anuli, which means 'joy' in the Igbo language of Nigeria. The mask is beautifully embellished with colorful recycled glass beads, featuring a bird motif on the forehead. The artisan carves the mask by hand from rubberwood, an African hardwood.
